Geroldsauer Wasserfälle

The famous Geroldsau waterfall where Johannes Brahms and Gustave Courbet have already cherished this experience of nature in order to draw creative energy from the loud roar of the water masses crashing into a turquoise-blue pond.

Ruine der Burg Hohenbaden

Hohenbaden Castle (when Hohenbaden Castle was founded, today Old Castle) in Baden-Baden was the seat of the Margraves of Baden in the Middle Ages. They named themselves after the castle, which gave the state of Baden its name.

Teufelsmühle

You have a clear view from the Teufelsmühle! The Rhine plain stretches out in front of you, the Vosges mountains tower behind and in the distance you can also see the Odenwald. Simply terrific! On beautiful days, the viewpoint is well attended, but it is still worth a break.

Alb und Ettlinger Altstadt

Old, historical, well-kept and worth seeing city with many highlights. After exploring the city, be sure to stop by the Vogelbräu. It’s worth it!

Wildsee

The Wildsee offers beautiful views in every season. Since the high moor is very busy, visit it very early on the weekend or stop during the week. The paths must not be left.

Altstadt rund um das Schloss Ettlingen

Pretty town with flair. Many cafes around the castle invite you to take a break.

Bernsteinfels

The amber is 693 m high in the northern Black Forest just around the corner from Bad Herrenalb. The summit of this mountain, which borders the Murg Valley on its eastern side, is formed by a six meter high rock with a large viewing plateau. From there you have a wonderful view of the northern Black Forest around you.

Teufelskammerfelsen

The Devil’s Chamber is outside the secured paths. You should be surefooted. The best way is “around the back” and not in front via the step that is offered when you arrive from below.
You will be rewarded with a great cave. The pillars of the cave appear to be man-made, but are probably of natural origin.
